How do the Second Chance tables work?
After the tourney begins, we will sell $20 buy-ins for Second Chance Tables. If a player is eliminated from the tournament, but still wants to play No Limit Texas Hold'em, we will sell the $20 buy-ins at the Second Chance Tables. Once we get enough players (usually 9), we will start a single table game. At each Second Chance table, First Place will win 50% of the total buy-in; Second Place - $25% of the total buy-in. We will start as many Second Chance tables throughout the evening as we have dealers/players available, provided there is enough time to complete play before the tournament officially ends.
Players at Second Chance tables start with a beginning stack of $2,000. Blinds level progressions are the same as in the tournament, except that the blinds increase to the next level every time the dealer button makes a complete circuit around the table.
People can buy $10 Spectator admission (which includes food and pop) and purchase $20 buy-ins at Second Chance tables without actually having to enter the tournament. This might be of interest to beginners who do not want to play at the tournament stakes.
All players and spectators must be 18 or older.
