Past International President Robert L. “Bob” Moore is shown speaking at a Michigan District banquet held in his honor in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 8, 2003. Bob Moore said that Kiwanis is a “family united in service in a world without borders”. He noted that this is a critical time in the life of Kiwanis and Kiwanians must take advantage of the opportunities for change in a changing world. President Moore stated three goals: (1) Succeed with Service (2) Excel with Membership and (3) Educate. Important strategies will be to “emphasize all student clubs, respect and appreciate diversity and add younger members”. He reported that Kiwanis has met the IDD goal of 75 million dollars and has pledged an additional 3 million by 2005. The Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor hosted that banquet.
